These Local Residents Did It, & So Can You!

My journey started back in July 2018, with Conor as my P.T. I was your typical yo-yo dieter, with little to no knowledge of how to exercise effectively. I would stick to the treadmill and view the gym as a 'place of punishment', due to being over-indulgent.

As a PT, Conor hugely helped develop my knowledge about food intake and how to train and exercise more effectively, but his emotional support is what helped me make the change. His drive and compassion to see me as a whole person, not just a client, enabled him to into account my emotional well-being.

The main difference between these two versions is the way I now deal with my emotional well-being and stress. 2018 me would go to food for comfort and hide away after dealing with everyday stresses in-front of the T.V. Myself now, after working with Conor to develop healthier habits, will head to the gym to clear my mind.

I joined this fantastic Gym in May 23, signed up for the 6 week trial.

The trainers are so easy to connect with, they really want the best from you. I can honestly say the last 6 months have changed my life, after years of little to no exercise I plucked up the courage to contact Focused, I received a consultation with Conor and have never looked back.

Putting the effort in I've seen great results so far and friends and family have noticed the change in me, I've dropped a dress size, got fitter, toned up, got stronger and most of all training has had a positive effect on my mental health, I'm happier, less stressed and haven't looked back. I have also met new people along the way and am now great friends with :)


Conor has been my PT since November 2018 and it has been an amazing journey and one of the best decisions I have ever made.
